- Rinse and soak the chana dal in water for about 30 minutes..

- Add the chopped spinach leaves along with grated ginger, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, green chilli and salt. Combine well..
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Shape this bhaji vada mixture into round balls and flatten them by lightly pressing using your palm.
- Deep fry the vada till crisp and golden from both the sides..
